Microblading –
a semi permanant treatment

Microblading

Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin.  It is all about creating the best shape for each face.  The semi-permanent secret to faking fuller eyebrows that look totally natural, microblading might just be the hassle-free solution to spending hours pencilling in your eyebrows.

Combination Brow

Combination brows or microblading with shading as they are sometimes referred to, are the perfect combination between natural brows, and not having to pencil or draw them on each day.  This treatment is a little fuller than microblading on its own and you have the option to have them shaded at various levels depending on the look you desire.

This best suits clients with little to no brow hair as the shading will perfectly blend the natural hairs and the microblading strokes together making the procedure look virtually undetectable.

The Process & Cost

Consultation

This is an important part of the treatment and generally lasts around 30 minutes.  We talk to you about what you want to achieve with your brows, the reason for you wanting to have the treatment and also to go over in detail what happens during the two sessions.

As part of this consultation we can map your brows so that you can see what they will look like before you go ahead with the treatment.

We will go through the pigment and ink range to see what will suit you best.

We will complete a patch test.  This must be completed 48 hours before we proceed with treatment.

Finally, we will ask you to complete a medical questionnaire to make sure you are fit and well to continue with treatment.

A non refundable deposit of £50.00 will be taken at this stage.

Initial Treatment

At the start of the initial treatment we will recap what was agreed at the consultation and once you are happy to go ahead a pre-draw will begin.
Once we are ready to begin a numbing cream is applied to the area prior to the treatment taking place to minimise any discomfort! Whatever the feeling, you leave the clinic with the most amazing eyebrows, so it’s all worth it in the end!

Each individual hair stroke is drawn onto to skin by hand, matching the direction of your natural hair.  The stokes are drawn to mimic actual hairs creating a 3D effect and ultra realist looking semi permanent makeup enhancement which we’re sure you will love.

The whole process takes around two hours, so please be sure to leave yourself with enough time for the appointment.

Top Up

A complimentary follow up appointment is included with this treatment at around 4-6 weeks to finalise your enhancement and to make any final adjustments to the area.

Aftercare

As our treatments are semi permanent, we advise regular maintenance treatments to keep the colour looking fresh. Time between top ups vary for each client.

FAQ’s

How long will my new brows last?

Certain factors play a role in how long the microblading will last, but usually 12-36 months.
Semi-permanent makeup is deposited into the upper layers of the skin which naturally sheds over time. This means that the pigment will eventually begin to fade.
12-24 month colour boosters are recommended to keep your brows looking fresh.

Will the treatment hurt?

A numbing cream is applied and left on for about 20-30mins prior to the treatment starting.
Once the cream is absorbed, very little feeling remains.
Further anaesthetic gel is applied during the procedure to ensure you are in no discomfort throughout.
Please be aware that some clients will feel a little more discomfort than others due to certain medications or their general tolerance.

Is there any redness?

Due to the contact with your skin, there can be some redness, but this subsides after a few hours and most clients leave free to continue their day as normal so no need to hide away.

Someone else carried out my initial treatment, can you help me still?

Absolutely yes we can.  We can schedule a consultation so we can see what you already have, how saturated your skin is, and explain the best possible choices for your brows.
All new clients will be charged at the full price, regardless if you are just looking for a ‘ quick top-up’.

Do you have a full price cancellation policy?

In order to provide a professional service and to avoid disruption from no-shows and short notice cancellations, and to ensure availability for all our clients, we operate a strict 48-hour notice cancellation policy. Please kindly give us 48-hour notice if you intend to cancel or move your appointment to another day to avoid being charged for your appointment. No exceptions will be made except for emergencies i.e. hospital, bereavement.  Our service is strictly supplied under these terms and conditions.
